Objective
King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), Saudi Arabia, wanted to raise its profile as a world leader in science across Arabic-speaking audiences of scientists, opinion-leaders and the public.

Solution
Through our exclusive partnership with Nature Publishing Group, we worked with KACST to produce a weekly online edition and monthly print edition of Nature in Arabic. This publication aims to boost regional science and make a clear and powerful statement of the significance of KACST.

We produced Nature Arabic Edition by:
    • Setting up an editorial team in the region;
    • Rapid translation of science journalism from Nature into Arabic;
    • Producing a website with content in Arabic script and writing conventions;
    • Laying out the Arabic text, printing and distributing copies worldwide.

Within two months of launch, Nature Arabic Edition registered 1,000 members, more than 28,000 visitors and over 65,000 page views and counting.
